Explosions In The Sky's music has become an integral part of countless film and television productions (most notably Friday Night Lights and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly), and David Wingo is a highly acclaimed film and television composer (Mud, Take Shelter, Barry) and leader of acclaimed indie-rock group, Ola Podrida. They've all been very close friends for decades now, and that tight-knit friendship has inspired mutual friend and renowned filmmaker, David Gordon Green, to commission multiple film scores from Explosions In The Sky and David Wingo.
