The duo of Mark T. Smith (Explosions In The Sky) and Matthew Cooper (Eluvium) have come back quickly and unexpectedly with a follow-up EP to their widely acclaimed recent album, Maze of Woods. The Blanket Waves EP features two side-long tracks that weave together mechanical rhythms, vocal samples, and indeterminate instrumentation into the occasionally noisy ambiance that has quickly become their hallmark.
